The institute facilitated visit of 20 artisans from Budgam Sozni cluster and Anantnag Chanistitch cluster to Delhi and Rajasthan from 1^st to 10^th January 2019. These artisans are part of cluster development programme being implemented by J&K KVIB under SFURTI scheme of Ministry of MSME. The artisans were accompanied by Mr. Akhtar Hussain from CDI along with officials from J&K KVIB. The exposure visit is one of the components of Soft interventions of the scheme and CDI is technical agency for these clusters.

Facilitation of participation of artisans in Design Fair at Dastkar, New Delhi

The institute facilitated participation of 5 artisan entrepreneurs working with various crafts who are supported by Commitment to Kashmir Trust from 10^th to 21^st January 2019 in Design Fair at Dastkar New Delhi. Mr. Yasir Mir from CDI was present in the event from 10^th to 14^th January 2019 to assist these artisan entrepreneurs. CDI is helping commitment to Kashmir in supporting 22 craft entrepreneurs in Kashmir.
