CDI’s involvement with the handicraft sector and its very real contribution to the revival of regional handicrafts has attracted the attention and appreciation at national and international level. The Institute has developed a substantial network with prominent organizations. The growing number of visitors and faculty from around the world is testimony to CDI’s ability to bridge the past, present and future of handicrafts with openness, innovation and complete professionalism.

The Institute has a core faculty and technical staff which anchors and coordinates its ongoing programmes, bringing a range of multi-disciplinary inputs & a rich experience base to its activities.
